In 2007, Beijing Municipal Administration & Communications Card Co.,Ltd cooperated with Beijing KPay Limited company to create the largest platform for petty cash payments in Beijing.
This project will be an important part of “Digital Beijing”, and the administration & communication cards will become necessary tools for Beijing citizens.
 

At present time, the number of released cards is about 28 millions. The trading volumes have passed 10 millions per day. The cards are mainly applied in the public transportation (buses, subway and trains), taxi, parks, highway stations, parking management, business low-value payments and some other similar fields.

The fields related with petty cash payments including supermarkets, department stores, convenience stores, bakery, medicine shops, bookstores, gas stations and so on.
